Tholos Alcantara was born with the desire to create natural products of the highest quality using raw materials from the Alcantara Valley area.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The company is young and dynamic<\/strong>, family-run, with special attention to detail; production is always followed with an eye to sustainability and the protection of a precious territory<\/strong>, which we want to care for and tell.<\/p>\n

Beneath the imposing view of the volcano are the marvellous Alcantara Gorges<\/strong>, a natural canyon carved by water into the volcanic rock, with the characteristic walls that inspired us to create the image of our products.<\/p>\n

The Alcantara Gorges<\/strong> were formed by the flow of river water over huge flows of cooled lava<\/strong> from volcanic activity in the region. The walls<\/strong> are composed of basaltic rocks<\/strong> that reach several tens of metres in height. A true natural canyon<\/strong>, unique in shape and originality.<\/p>\n

Marcello Favazza<\/strong>, originally from the Valley of the Alcantara River, and Marco Moltrasio<\/strong>, from Bergamo but now Sicilian by adoption, wanted to recover the farming knowledge they had inherited and start the Tholos Alcantara business with the production of Extra Virgin Olive Oil<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
